One city, one man on top.

Powered by senior guard Donovan Dent’s 30-point showing, UCLA men’s basketball (19-9, 11-6 Big Ten) steamrolled USC (18-10, 7-10) 81-62 on Tuesday night in front of over 13,000 fans at Pauley Pavilion in its first of two rivalry matchups this season.

Dent’s season-high scoring served as an exclamation point to a Trojan thrashing, securing crosstown bragging rights and keeping the Bruins’ hunt for a tournament appearance well within reach.
