Tens of thousands flooded the closed streets of Los Angeles for the marathon Sunday, including thousands of supporters and volunteers.
The Los Angeles Marathon, coined the Stadium to the Stars, drew in runners from 63 countries and all 50 states. The 26.2-mile challenge passed by numerous iconic landmarks including the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Walk of Fame before ending at Century City. Runners also had the option to finish the race at the 18 mile mark and still receive a finisher’s medal because of an increase in temperature.
