No. 1 UCLA baseball (35-3, 20-0 Big Ten) opened the program’s Jackie Robinson Week on Tuesday. The Bruins debuted their jerseys inspired by the MLB trailblazer. Robinson’s granddaughter, Ayo Robinson, threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

There was far less fanfare from the Bruin faithful by the end of the night, however, as UC Santa Barbara (24-12, 11-6 Big West) ended UCLA’s 27-game win streak 4-0 at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
