The Bruins’ reign as Big Ten champions comes to an end in Ojai, California.

No. 5 seed UCLA men’s tennis’s (17-7, 10-3 Big Ten) Big Ten Tournament run began with a rivalry match Thursday in the quarterfinal against No. 4 seed USC (18-7, 10-3) in Ojai, with UCLA advancing 4-0. However, the Westwood squad failed to become back-to-back Big Ten champions after a 4-2 loss in Friday’s semifinal against No. 1 seed Michigan State (18-8, 12-1).
