No. 1 overall seed UCLA baseball eliminated from NCAA tournament via upset


On May 31, No. 1 overall seed UCLA baseball (52-8, 28-2 Big Ten) was eliminated in the regional round of the NCAA tournament by No. 4 seed Saint Mary’s (now 36-27, 15-12 WCC) at Jackie Robinson Stadium. The Bruins became the second No. 1 overall seed in NCAA baseball history to fail to advance to their regional final.
