UCLA Root[d, a South Asian urban fusion dance team, hosted Mock Mehndi on May 20 at the James West Alumni Center. Performers recreated a traditional Indian pre-wedding ceremony at the event. The event also featured cultural performances by South Asian student organizations, mehndi provided by UCLA’s Henna with a Heart and South Asian cultural decorations.
