UCPD is investigating a reported sexual assault that occurred Sunday on the Hill.

The incident occurred on the 300 block of De Neve Drive – where UCLA’s on-campus residence halls are located – around 1 a.m., according to a Sunday UCPD Clery Timely Warning. The victim knows the suspect, according to the alert.

UCPD did not respond immediately to a request for comment on the report.

UCPD shared safety information, reminders about consent and other resources in the alert – including information about UCLA’s Title IX office, which provides support for survivors of sexual violence.

“In an effort to promote campus safety and provide timely information to our campus community, the following information is being provided so that you can make informed decisions about your safety,” UCPD said in the alert. “We encourage all community members to care for their needs and well-being while reading this message, especially those who have been impacted by similar forms of violence.”
