Desert Trip offers fans of all ages chance to see heroes perform

UCLA senior scholar inflates happiness on campus through balloon art

More than 100 students stood locked outside of Bunche 1209B waiting for class to start, when a silver balloon suddenly shot out over the crowd. The students’ eyes traced the balloon’s trajectory, and David Perkins quickly reached into the large fanny pack hanging just above his waist and pulled out another silver balloon. Read more...

‘Project Runway: Junior’ alum creates unisex fashion line

The first design Matt Sarafa ever brought to life was a blue satin dress for his mother. “It was literally awful,” Sarafa said. “It looked like Princess Elsa from ‘Frozen,’ but like on crack.” His mother, Tina Sarafa, on the other hand considers the dress a treasure. Read more...
