Gardens & Villa will be performing its synthesizer-tinged vintage rock music Tuesday at Bruin Plaza at noon in a free concert hosted by the Campus Events Commission. The group will be playing new music in addition to songs from its self-titled full-length album, which was released last summer. Gardens & Villa will also be performing at the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, Calif., later this year.

Fowler Museum to celebrate Chicano culture with La Santa Cecilia and Patssi Valdez
Singer Marisol Hernandez, guitarist Gloria Estrada and percussionist Miguel Ramirez met during a jam session at a party in the summer of 2007.
