The UCLA Film and Television Archive's 14th biennial Festival of Preservation includes clips of Alfred Hitchcock making faces at the camera during the Hollywood premiere of "North by Northwest," gay and lesbian couples speaking about their struggles in the first-ever feature-length documentary about the subject in 1977, and the sole surviving copy of one of Sri Lanka's most important films, "Gamperaliya."
