UCLA alumnus aims to demystify medical school application process through YouTube

‘A Most Favored Nation’ offers unique augmented reality theater experience

If the phrase “augmented reality theater” sounds unfamiliar, allow “A Most Favored Nation” to demonstrate. In conjunction with the Center for Research in Engineering, Media and Performance, the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television is welcoming the UCLA community to the live-to-tape immersive theater experience with “A Most Favored Nation.” The play’s action occurs in 1963 Chicago yet extends three sets of characters’ storylines across two alternate timelines, allowing viewers to choose which aspects of the production to follow. Bruin Creators helps aspiring content creators begin their YouTube careers

Bruin Creators transforms students from viewers to creators. Founded in 2020, the student club aims to build a small community for aspiring Bruin YouTubers to teach them how to create video projects such as vlogs, TikToks and promotional advertisements, president and third-year neuroscience student Jason Wu said. Tour the Garden: Alexander Calder’s Button Flower epitomizes community focus of outdoor sculpture

As chancellor from 1960 to 1968, Franklin D. Murphy conceived of and curated UCLA’s Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden. The bucolic hills and surrounding pathways, completed by architect Ralph Cornell in 1967, serve as a community hangout and the backdrop for some of the finest sculptures of the 20th century.
