UCLA alumna Ari Afsar lands role in Chicago production of ‘Hamilton’
Ari Afsar fangirled during her callback for the Chicago musical “Hamilton” because she got to sing for Tony Award-winning director Thomas Kail. The UCLA alumna sang two songs from the show and one from her book, and was asked to stay longer. Read more...

Incoming student’s high school films nominated for festival awards
Katie Speare filmed herself standing behind a sheet of Plexiglas smeared with makeup at age 16. Sound clips from 1950s makeup commercials droned on while two hands scrubbed the makeup off the sheet. Read more...
