UCLA Juneteenth celebration honors Black history through music, dance, spoken word

On Wednesday, Royce Hall will welcome artists from across the nation for the first “Prelude to … JUNETEENTH DAY CELEBRATION,” a free multimedia art event that will feature music, dance and spoken word performances to tell the history of emancipation in the United States. Concert review: girl in red excites in passionate, vibrant performance at Greek Theatre

girl in red is truly doing it again, redefining live shows. The Norwegian singer-songwriter performed her second LA show Thursday night at the Greek Theatre on her “Doing it Again Tour.” The indie pop artist performed a variety of songs that included fan-favorite classics as well as music from her sophomore album “I’M DOING IT AGAIN BABY!” released last month.
