The American Youth Symphony will perform Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with 25-year-old guest pianist Natasha Paremski, who received the Young Artist Award of 2010 from the Classical Recording Foundation.

Larry Sutherland served as director of bands and professor of music at California State University, Fresno from 1969 to 2006. Under the direction of Sutherland, the UCLA Wind Ensemble will perform its first concert of the school year at Schoenberg Hall today at 8 p.m.
