UCLA Piano Marathon celebrates musical legacy of composer Arnold Schoenberg

This Thursday, piano and composition students will celebrate the musical legacy of avant-garde composer Arnold Schoenberg. The concert, which is part of the ongoing celebration of the 150th anniversary of Schoenberg’s birth, will feature solo piano works by the famed composer, as well as original student compositions influenced by his music. ‘What unites us all’: UCLA, USC battle it out in beatboxing talent showcase

The student organization hosted an event Saturday evening at the Northwest Campus Auditorium, in which students from both UCLA and the University of Southern California took to the stage for a beatboxing battle that featured a wide variety of musical performances.
