UCLA professor of cardiac surgery remembered for persistence, life-saving research
When John Robertson attended his first cardiac surgery conference in Chicago with Gerald Buckberg, he wasn’t expecting to attend a black-tie afterparty. UCLA School of Law hosts event to discuss reformation of criminal justice system
Professors, activists and other authorities on criminal justice debated how to best resolve issues within the modern criminal justice system at an event Friday. Despite new appointments, undergraduate Academic Senate positions remain empty
Student government officials left 20 out of 21 undergraduate student representative positions in the Academic Senate unfilled for half the academic school year. The Academic Senate, which decides on matters like enrollment and degree requirements as well as program establishment, has 42 positions reserved for graduate and undergraduate student representatives on 15 committees. USAC votes in support of The Agora, citing potential to bring down housing costs
