The Study at Hedrick opens to students on the Hill

UCLA workers plan five-day strike to protest wages

Skilled trade workers will strike for five days at UCLA after failing to reach agreement on wages with the university. Teamsters Local 2010, the union representing the workers, voted in December to hold the strike, which will last from Friday to Tuesday. Read more...

Ashe Center opens Bruin Health Pharmacy in Ackerman Union

Students can now fill their prescriptions at a new pharmacy in Ackerman Union. UCLA officials announced the opening of the Bruin Health Pharmacy on Monday. The 1200-square foot facility, located where the former textbook buyback program was, will have expanded window service and longer hours. Read more...

Alum Norman Powell donates $5 million to support university librarian
