USAC approves amendment clarifying process of filling officer vacancies
With a 10-0-1 vote, undergraduate student government officers approved language at their Tuesday meeting for a constitutional amendment that would clarify how officer vacancies are filled, extend the timeline for council to hold special elections and prevent special elections from taking place during school breaks. Block discusses university goals during question-and-answer session
Chancellor Gene Block met with about 30 students and administrators at the Neuroscience Research Building auditorium on Monday afternoon for a question-and-answer session. Block discussed various university goals involving the health sciences, including his plan to increase UCLA’s international ranking through more interdisciplinary partnerships between the sciences and humanities.
