Ranked-choice voting to be implemented for USAC election
The way votes are collected in the undergraduate student government election this week may play a significant role in determining the winning candidates. Starting Tuesday morning, students will cast their votes for some Undergraduate Students Association Council candidates using ranked-choice voting, where they rank candidates – from first choice to last choice – in their order of preference. Safe Sex Week to educate students through themed days, events
A series of on-campus events this week will aim to educate students about safe sex practices and sexual violence prevention through various informational sessions. Starting Monday, the Student Wellness Commission’s Gender Health committee will launch Safe Sex Week, which is meant to teach students about issues such as AIDS, sexually transmitted infections and sexual consent.
