October 31, 2011 – It’s a sunny Saturday morning outside of Royce Hall. Parents and students decked out in blue and gold eat pastries, decipher maps of campus, and chat excitedly as the UCLA marching band blasts triumphantly over the speakers. Parents Laura Whitaker, Steven Eaton, Beverly Westenberg, and Kevin and Robyne Kelly show their support of their UCLA students by traveling hundreds of miles to attend Parents’ Weekend. [2:00]

The Homecoming Carnival returned to UCLA for the first time since 2004. Attractions included learning the dance for the flash mob at the football game on Saturday, a velcro wall, an obstacle course, and much more. NSU Modern and Synthesis Dance Crew also performed.
