“¢bull; BruinBox is a shared data space resource that will use cloud storage to keep files on servers, rather than personal computers, that can be accessed from anywhere. Students will be able to access their documents, pictures and music from BruinBox.
“¢bull; UCLA’s Common Collaboration and Learning Environment website will be updated with cloud computing.
“¢bull; Cloud computing will allow faculty to easily include multimedia, such as YouTube videos, on the website.
“¢bull; Cloud services for a data management service will allow researchers to access large quantities of data shared by other researchers very quickly, without having to download it onto their computers.

October 31, 2011 – It’s a sunny Saturday morning outside of Royce Hall. Parents and students decked out in blue and gold eat pastries, decipher maps of campus, and chat excitedly as the UCLA marching band blasts triumphantly over the speakers. The Homecoming Carnival returned to UCLA for the first time since 2004. Attractions included learning the dance for the flash mob at the football game on Saturday, a velcro wall, an obstacle course, and much more. NSU Modern and Synthesis Dance Crew also performed.
