A week devoted to remembrance: UCLA students pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian genocide

Hundreds of cross-shaped papers lay on the lawn of Wilson Plaza on Wednesday. Students participated in a silent march in Wilson Plaza on Wednesday to commemorate the Armenian Genocide, in which 1.5 million Armenians were killed between 1915 and 1923. The Turkish government, accused of systematically murdering the Armenians, has refused to label the killings as genocide.


Enough is Enough campaign fights against violence
