Threat to UCLA Black community deemed non-credible by UCPD, under FBI investigation

The Federal Bureau of Investigation opened a probe Thursday into a violent threat made against Black community members at UCLA which UCPD deemed non-credible.  The threat – which was also sent to people at the University of Southern California – referenced the stabbing of Iryna Zarutska, a Ukrainian woman who was allegedly murdered in August by a Black man, according to Morning, Trojan. UCLA football backup quarterback arrested for alleged felony incident

A UCLA football player was arrested Friday for an alleged felony incident. Pierce Clarkson, a redshirt sophomore and UCLA’s backup quarterback, was arrested Sept. 5 by LAPD’s Southwest Division, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department inmate locator. Read more...
