UCLA ranks 7th in 2023 edition of Forbes America’s Top Colleges list

Forbes ranked UCLA seventh in its 2023 America’s Top Colleges ranking Tuesday. It had previously ranked UCLA sixth in its 2022 ranking. Forbes decides its ranking based on numerous factors, including graduation rates, salaries post-graduation, retention rates, return on investment and low debt rates after graduation. Read more...

UCLA community reacts to Gene Block retirement announcement

Data shows rise in underrepresented groups, in-state students in UC admissions

The University of California admitted the largest class of California freshmen and historically underrepresented students in the system’s history for the upcoming 2023-24 academic year The preliminary data findings from the UC Office of the President said 88,285 California residents were admitted to the University this year, composing 68% of the total incoming freshman class. UC Regents recap – July 18-20

Supreme Court rules against Biden’s plan to forgive student loans
