Westwood unveils pedestrian hub Broxton Plaza in hopes of revitalizing community

The Los Angeles community celebrated the opening of the city’s largest pedestrian plaza Feb. 22. UCLA students react to LA County’s declaration of Native American Heritage Month

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors officially declared last November to be Native American Heritage Month. Supervisors Hilda Solis and Lindsey Horvath co-authored the motion, which recognizes the importance of “inclusivity, equity and reconciliation” with the county’s Native American community.
