De Neve Grab ‘N Go wraps up old menu to offer custom sandwiches

A new sandwich bar that allows students to custom-order sandwiches opened last Thursday in the De Neve Grab ‘N Go location. Similar to a Subway station, students visiting the sandwich bar tell the worker behind the counter what they would like on their sandwich, and generally leave the Grab ‘N Go location with their sandwich within two and a half minutes, said Alex Macias, an assistant director for UCLA Dining Services. Anderson event tackles economics of presidential candidates’ policies

Economists and public policy experts discussed how the presidential election and the economy affect each other at the UCLA Anderson School of Management on Wednesday. New online course to help student cyclists steer clear of citations

Cyclists who receive a citation will be able to complete an online course to have their citation dismissed. On Oct. 10, UCLA Transportation and UCPD will launch BikeSafe, an online program that will give bicycle safety lessons to educate riders and help them avoid citations, according to the UCLA Transportation website. USAC creates database for easy access to information about committees

Students can now access information about undergraduate student government officials in one place. The USAC Office of the President introduced an official website earlier this week to give students a space to get updates about internship opportunities and events in the office, said USAC President Danny Siegel.
