Bruins for Hillary visits Nevada to campaign for upcoming election
Students supporting Hillary Clinton traveled across state lines to campaign for the Democratic presidential candidate over the weekend. Bruins for Hillary organized a day trip to Las Vegas on Saturday, where 10 volunteers knocked on doors to convince voters to support Clinton and the Democratic Senate candidate for Nevada, Catherine Cortez Masto. New report uses UCLA as case study to examine on-campus free speech
A literary organization released a report Monday recommending that American universities support students’ freedom of speech to amplify marginalized voices. Study shows about 70 percent of UC employees lack food security
University of California administrative and clerical workers struggle to feed themselves more than students do, according to a study released Monday. Occidental College’s Urban and Environmental Policy Institute surveyed about 14,000 members of Teamsters Local 2010, the union that represents UC administrative and clerical workers. Read more...
