University police are investigating an online comment made toward the Alpha Phi sorority Monday. The comment, written in the comments section of the sorority’s recruitment video on YouTube, was a short written excerpt from the video manifesto released by Elliot Rodger, the man who killed six people in Isla Vista, California, in May 2014. The LGBT Campus Resource Center will hold its sixth annual resource fair Friday in anticipation of National Coming Out Week, which begins Monday. University police are searching for a man who carjacked an individual on the UCLA campus Monday afternoon. The individual, who is not affiliated with UCLA, said he was waiting in his car when a man approached him with a handgun near the Center for Health Sciences building at about 4:35 p.m., according to a UCPD alert.
