The Westwood Village Improvement Association, also known as the BID, is a nonprofit organization tasked with improving the state of Westwood Village. USAC discusses bloc voting, other concerns about election process

Several undergraduate student government officers and Election Board officials met Wednesday to discuss bloc voting and other concerns about the student government election process. The Undergraduate Students Association Council’s Constitutional Review Committee, which is in charge of proposing changes to USAC bylaws or the Election Code, convened to discuss possible solutions that aim to make the election process more fair. City commission votes to keep Westwood Boulevard bike lane in plan

The Los Angeles City Planning Commission voted to keep a Westwood Boulevard bike lane in the Mobility Plan 2035 at a public hearing Feb. 11. At the meeting, the city’s planning department advised the commission against changing plans for the bicycle network because officials determined Westwood Boulevard is an important north-south corridor for cyclists. Employees tailor new look for Westwood’s American Vintage

Two years ago, shoppers at American Vintage had to sort through racks of clothing to find items that fit their styles. Now, sales associates Stephany Torrejon and Melissa Ramos can lead customers to specific pieces tailored to their tastes, like vintage corsets, Mexican dresses and cutoff shorts. Read more...
