A motorcycle caught fire after it collided with a car in the North Village Thursday afternoon. Firefighters received a call at 3:48 p.m. about a collision between a motorcycle and a car on Midvale Avenue near Ophir Drive, in which the motorcycle caught on fire, said Margaret Stewart, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson. 3D4E plans to have prosthetic hand ready to hit the court this spring

UCLA grad student remembered for passion for physics, adventurous spirit
