UCLA officials recently formed a committee to help the university find candidates for a new diversity-related vice chancellor position. University police plan to deploy an increased number of police officers at this quarter’s Undie Run because they anticipate increased attendance at the event. The Undie Run, an unofficial university tradition usually held on the Wednesday of final exams week, typically has a larger police presence in spring because more individuals participate in the event during that quarter, UCPD spokeswoman Nancy Greenstein said in an email statement.
