CAC Cultural Programming Mini Fund now covers supply costs

Students can now obtain funding for supplies needed for cultural events and programming from the Cultural Programming Mini Fund, housed in the undergraduate student government. The Undergraduate Students Association Council Cultural Affairs Commission expanded the resources covered by the fund this quarter to better help students afford to put on cultural events, said Jessica Trumble, Cultural Affairs commissioner. New electronic bike lockers installed on Kinross Avenue

UCLA Transportation recently installed eight new electronic bike lockers near the UCLA Kinross Building in Westwood. The lockers cost about $20,000 and are meant to encourage cycling amongst UCLA students and employees and prevent bike theft in the area, said David Karwaski, the senior associate director of events and transportation at UCLA.
