LGBTI protections expand as public acceptance grows, Williams Institute finds

Social acceptance correlates strongly with legal protections for LGBTI individuals, according to a new report from the Williams Institute at the UCLA School of Law. UCLA announces ASUCLA meal swipes will only be accepted at lunch hours weekdays

This post was updated Sept. 9 at 11:41 a.m. UCLA Housing announced a new policy on Friday that makes meal swipes only accepted at ASUCLA locations during weekday lunch hours.  Starting this fall, meal swipes will no longer be accepted for breakfast, dinner or weekends at ASUCLA affiliated restaurants, according to an email to students living on campus from UCLA Housing. New pedestrian-only Broxton Plaza aims to revitalize Westwood

Broxton Avenue will close to vehicle traffic starting in September to make way for the Broxton Plaza, a pedestrian-only area with programming, lawn games, outdoor seating and free Wi-Fi. Read more...
