Members of the UCLA Incarcerated Youth Program regularly visit Camp Miller, a juvenile probation facility in Malibu, to mentor and tutor high school-aged boys. The program was started in 1988 by the Muslim Student Association.

Anderson School of Management sees an increase in applicants despite national slump

The number of applicants to the Masters of Business Administration program at the UCLA Anderson School of Management are up, despite a trend of fewer applications to MBA programs nationally. The Anderson school has recently seen a 22.3 percent increase in its application rates, which officials attribute to revamped recruiting practices, said Rob Weiler, associate dean of the full-time MBA program at Anderson.
