Project preserves union history

Jono Schaffer once sat with hundreds of fellow strikers on the curb of a bustling L.A. street. Their statement stopped cars, created traffic and prompted highway patrollers to beg the workers to leave. UCLA travels to Qatar for conference

UCLA graduate student shares his feelings on attending 11th Doha Forum in Qatar

May 20, 2011 — At the 11th Doha Forum on Democracy, Development and Free Trade and Enriching the Middle East's Economic Future Conference in Qatar, a team of UCLA graduate students represented the university in facilitating discussions about the recent spring revolutions.
