Photo: Professor and Director Don Nakanishi of the UCLA Asian American Studies Center will be honored Saturday during the program’s 40th anniversary celebration from 4-7 p.m. in Dickson Plaza. Nakanishi is retiring after 19 years as director of the center and 35 years as a UCLA professor.
