Elizabeth Kemper to retire as Student Legal Services director after 40-year career

Elizabeth Kemper, a legal rights advocate for UCLA students, is retiring after 40 years. Kemper, director of UCLA Student Legal Services, will retire at the end of the 2023-2024 academic school year, leaving behind a legacy of decades-long advocacy and efficiently meeting the legal challenges students face. UCPD searches for suspect in incident of sexual battery in Westwood Village

Editor’s note: The following article contains a description of a reported sexual battery incident. UCPD is searching for an individual suspected of an off-campus sexual battery incident that occurred Thursday afternoon.  According to a crime alert sent Friday, the suspect reportedly grabbed the victim by the shoulder and thrusted his pelvis against the victim’s buttocks at the southwest corner of Le Conte Avenue and Broxton Avenue at around 3:30 p.m. Read more...
