UCLA experts discuss potential impact of CA’s budget deficit on UC funding

Gavin Newsom and the California legislature tackle the state’s nearly $60 billion estimated budget deficit, some UCLA experts said the UC’s funding might be at risk – which could lead to tuition hikes or altered admissions – while others said the University will remain unaffected. ‘LA Vibes’: First Thursdays brings mural art, skating and UCLA spirit to Broxton

Roller skating, skate performances, a live mural painting and food trucks were featured on Broxton Avenue for “LA Vibes,” drawing in more than 2,200 attendees, said Eddie North-Hager, interim executive director of UCLA Media.
