UCLA students raise complaints about BruinBus scheduling, overcrowding issues

Passengers of BruinBus have experienced frequent issues with the year-round shuttle service, including scheduling issues and roughness boarding buses. Students said the shuttle has been inconsistent in getting them to class on time and that there are not enough buses for the number of students who use the service, particularly at the U1 line’s Weyburn Terrace stop, where UCLA’s newest university apartments house thousands of students. Flying fellow students, Bruin Aviation president shows the sky’s the limit

Stepping onto the tarmac at Santa Monica Flyers, Vedant Bhargava always reminds himself to go back to the same checklist – a mindset he calls “airplane mode.” The second-year economics student completes a laundry list of pre-flight checks before takeoff in a four-seat, single-engine airplane, including some for weather, passenger safety, fuel, and other flight technologies and conditions.
