SAA brings 5 tons of snow to Bruin Plaza

Today Bruins will be able to frolic and play in the Eskimo way as the Student Alumni Association brings snow into Bruin Plaza. Although snow in Los Angeles has not occurred since a half-inch trickle in 1962, SAA is breaking that trend in its own way by giving campus a touch of what real winter is like for a day. Gerald Lamb’s life honored with upbeat memorial

Catchy music sounded throughout Covel Common’s Grand Horizon Room, reminding family and friends of the late Hedrick Hall Resident Director Gerald Lamb that his memorial service Monday night was more than a tribute to his death, it was “A Celebration of Life.” The service proved itself to be aptly titled as it embraced Lamb’s entire life, the people he had touched, the changes he had induced through his zeal for living, and the poignant memories he had left behind for those close to him to cherish.
