And for the 9,000 to 10,000 students who shell out money for the students’ association lecture notes every quarter, the answer is a half-hearted "sometimes." The students association, whose mission is to provide students with helpful services, sells lecture notes for about 100 classes per quarter, said Andy Amamoto, production manager for the students’ association (ASUCLA) Lecture Notes.
