Student creates mobile app to help students better discuss mental health

Sahen Rai decided he wanted to help normalize conversations about mental health after a classmate died by suicide during his senior year of high school. “I basically just want to create something that could really help people struggling with mental health issues, or depression or anxiety, and that’s kind of what I want to do for the rest of my life,” he said.
