UCLA research team finds that Ebola survivors retain immunity

UCLA researchers have discovered that Ebola survivors retain immunity to the virus even 40 years after contracting the disease. In a study published in December, UCLA researchers led by Anne Rimoin, associate professor of epidemiology, demonstrated that survivors of the 1976 Ebola outbreak in Central Africa still have antibodies against the Ebola virus. BruinBus extends hours, merges bus lines in response to complaints

Transfer, veteran resource centers provide study space and workshops

The Transfer Student Center and Veteran Resource Center have been able to accommodate an increasing number of students since its opening last summer. The transfer and veteran centers, which were previously located at the Student Activities Center, moved to Kerckhoff 128 and 132 in July. Read more...
