Five running in GSA elections for four positions with three unopposed
The graduate student presidential candidate will run uncontested for the second year in a row in this year’s election. City board to decide on Westwood Forward’s subdivision election proposal
UCLA students and Westwood community members are one step closer to voting on the creation of a new neighborhood council. The Board of Neighborhood Commissioners, which oversees neighborhood councils in Los Angeles, held a special town hall meeting Tuesday to take public comment about Westwood Forward’s proposal to separate UCLA and Westwood Village from the Westwood Neighborhood Council. USAC aims to decrease campaign spending in spring elections
Candidates running in this year’s undergraduate student government election will be reimbursed for their campaign spending. The Undergraduate Students Association Council approved several changes to the election code bylaws Tuesday, including using the USAC Election Board budget to reimburse a portion of up to 100 percent of a candidate’s total campaign expenditures.
