Westwood Village Improvement Association welcomes all with community collaboration

Events held in Westwood throughout the academic year – such as the annual Westwood Village Block Party and monthly Bruin Flea – seek to encourage students to interact with Westwood businesses and other small vendors, said Megan Furey, the director of programs and partnerships for WVIA. Professors express concern over research, programs following federal funding cuts

Professors expressed concern for the future of UCLA’s teaching and research as the Trump administration continues to financially target universities across the country. The Trump administration has revoked federal grants and contracts from six American universities due to their alleged failure to resolve antisemitism on campus and one university for allowing a transgender swimmer to compete for its women’s swim team, according to the Associated Press. USAC officers address immigration policy on campus, ways to protect students

Undergraduate Students Association Council members said they are seeking to protect undocumented students’ rights on campus under the Trump administration. Rocket Project at UCLA aims for new heights using innovation, collaboration
