Bruin Plate receives top rating for sustainable food service practices

Bruin Plate was recognized for its sustainability practices by an organization that rates restaurants based on environmental impact, UCLA officials announced Wednesday. Three UCLA professors chosen to join national academic organizations

Two national academic organizations recently selected three UCLA professors to join their ranks. The American Academy of Arts &Sciences, an independent policy research center which honors academics and conducts policy studies, selected Judith Carney, a geography professor, and Stephanie Jamison, an Asian languages and cultures professor, as fellows Tuesday. Atmospheric scientist appointed as new vice chancellor for research
