Freshly appointed election board chair hopes to rewrite election code
This post was updated Oct. 31 at 2:33 p.m. A former undergraduate student government presidential candidate was appointed election board chair Tuesday night. Richard White, a fourth-year political science student and the Leaders Influencing Tomorrow presidential candidate in the 2018 Undergraduate Student Association Council elections, was confirmed by the council in a 10-2-1 vote after three hours of debate. SWC program lets students access free menstrual hygiene products on the Hill
This post was updated Nov. 8 at 9:44 a.m. Free menstrual hygiene products will be available on the Hill beginning Wednesday. BruiNecessities, a basic needs student advocacy group housed under the Undergraduate Students Association Council Student Wellness Commission, will provide the products in a box at the De Neve Office of Residential Life, located in the De Neve lobby. Campus Safety Alliance reactivates after long period of inactivity
Fourteen campus organizations addressed safety concerns at the first meeting of a newly revived undergraduate student government committee Thursday. The Campus Safety Alliance, a coalition of student organizations and security officers who address safety issues on campus, held their first meeting in Kerckhoff Hall on Thursday to establish a framework for future CSA meetings and broader safety goals.
