Westwood stakeholders call on Metro to compensate businesses for expansion impacts

Westwood stakeholders are pushing for the Los Angeles Metro to expand compensation funds for businesses impacted by a planned subway line expansion. UCPD increases electric scooter violation enforcement, citing rise in complaints

University police have ramped up enforcement of electric scooter violations since week five. UCPD Lt. Kevin Kilgore said more officers are patrolling campus and are ready to give citations or warnings to students that go through pedestrian zones and sidewalks while using e-scooters and bicycles. Westwood Village Improvement Association talks Metro extension, climate change
