UC Board of Regents approves 2.5 percent tuition increase

Students will have to pay $282 more in tuition after a vote by the governing board of the University of California. UC President Janet Napolitano hospitalized

University of California President Janet Napolitano was hospitalized Monday morning due to cancer treatment complications. Doctors said she is doing well and expect her to be released in the coming days, according to a UC Office of the President statement. Read more...

UCLA’s Kathleen Salvaty named UC’s systemwide Title IX officer

UCLA’s Title IX officer will become the first Title IX officer for the University of California system, university officials announced Thursday. In an email to the campus community, Jerry Kang, vice chancellor for equity, diversity and inclusion, said Kathleen Salvaty would help make Title IX consistent throughout the UC system. Read more...
