LA’s premier innovation conferences combine for inaugural LABEST Week

Bioscience and medical technology leaders convened at UCLA from May 19 to May 22, combining two of Los Angeles’s premier innovation conferences. The UCLA Technology Development Group united the UCLA MedTech Conference and LA Bioscience Ecosystem Summit for the inaugural LABEST Week with the hope of fostering collaboration across fields such as medical technology, therapeutics and artificial intelligence, according to a press release. LA Metro discusses costs of Sepulveda Transit Corridor alternatives at May meeting

Los Angeles Metro officials discussed preliminary costs and scheduling for the Sepulveda Transit Corridor Project at a May community meeting Thursday. The meeting, held at the Westwood United Methodist Church, included information stations about the different stages of the Sepulveda Transit Corridor Project – a plan to expand accessible public transit from the San Fernando Valley to West LA through the Sepulveda Pass – as well as a presentation and Q&A session with LA Metro.
